Crystal with bowfa blows it away and is a game changer. Don't commit to bowfa WITHOUT crystal armor, you'll lose SO much dps it's insane. Just use RCB with rubies and dhide, it's better DPS. DCB if you want (main benefit is using dragon ruby bolts - ACB isn't really worth the cost). For nex specifically, acb is worth the price because of the specs alone, they significant increase overall dps especially if using a light bearer in small teams.

Slightly lower DPS by like 0.2 (with a fury, with an anguish blowpipe outshines bowfa without crystal armour by 0.6 dps) but still good. Hard to account for missed shots from BP while moving from spawns, which should lower the dps slightly. Crystal bow without armor is roughly equal to msb i, karil bow and rcb at places like shamans for example. Gets beaten by blowpipe though. With crystal armor though as was mentioned, it gets a huge accuracy and damage buff which makes it good at places like godwars, toa, wildy, zulrah, really anywhere you'd use bowfa, just a bit worse.Crystal armor itself is not a big upgrade over black dhide without the bowfa, outside of the ranged defense. After obtaining, I will be killing Zulrah with the bowfa to obtain all three uniques. Other bosses peak my curiosity on whether or not the bowfa will be good.
