MEC 600 frustration- need help. Ok I have a 12G MEC 600 Jr Mark V reloader that has given me no trouble. Decided to get a 410 version, opted for the whole thing so I wouldn't have to be swapping parts around. Found a pretty good price that wasn't but about $40 more than just the conversion kit.

Just like the MEC 400 Super Speeder shown below was the predecessor to the Single Stage 600 jr.I was struggling with some six point crimps on new Fiocchi hulls and accidently put one in the last station of the MEC Jr. before I hit it with the six point creaser. I pulled the handle and felt something wrong. Immediately, my 62 year old cat-quick reflexes caused my arm to back off before the hull was crushed into oblivion.These loads toss a traditional payload of 1-1/8 ounce shot and come to market in three versions: Light (~1145 fps), Heavy (~1200 fps) and Handicap (~1235 to 1255 fps).
