It's coming from around the pto area in the rear. Does not do it with nothing hooked up.If it does, then that is the first step to making your a/c better. If it is doing that, then you are probably low of freon. The second thing was stated earlier, make sure your heat control is to minimum. I have had several issues with the a/c on this tractor, and most of them stem from leaking freon.

I parked it on a fairly steep hill facing uphill. Unfortunately, there was a pinhole in the fuel line and air got in the line. John Deere uses a dual SCV to control the bucket (see this link ), so if the cylinders aren't leaking, the problem has to be somewhere back up the hydraulic chain.
