Second Chance Cats of West Michigan is a newly found nonprofit that aims to help cats find their forever homes. Its located near the corner of Knapp Street and Fuller Avenue in Grand Rapids. Lexi is two year-old tortoise shell cat who made her way to Second Chance Cats after being rescued by a community caregiver. She was living in a feral encampment with her three kittens, barely able to provide milk to nourish them. She was underweight, wary of humans but gradually began trusting the caregiver.
