Jan 3, 2016 · It's called a "safety plunger" for a reason. I would not recommend polishing the plunger. If you take too much of the metal off by "polishing", you will make your G43 into an unsafe weapon which could result in the "safety" part of the plunger not so safe.

It is crticial that any spring that returns the plunger to its downward position after shots are fired. If the plunger spring has to push a rough plunger through a dirty channel then a reduced power spring is probably not a great idea.
